Why We Collect Your Personal Information

We collect personal information from you so that we can provide our credit assistance services, including:

• assessing your borrowing capacity and your financial needs
• identifying lenders and credit products that may suit your circumstances
• preparing and submitting credit applications on your behalf
• managing your loan from application through to settlement and afterwards
• meeting our obligations under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009

What Information We Collect

We may collect your name, date of birth, contact details, address history, employment and income information, expenses and liabilities, assets, identification documents, your tax file number where the law permits us to collect it, and other financial information required to assess your application.

Who We May Disclose Your Information To

We may share your personal information with:

• lenders, banks and other credit providers
• BLSSA Pty Ltd, our licensee, and Loan Market Group
• credit reporting bodies, including Equifax, illion and Experian
• lenders mortgage insurers
• valuers, solicitors and conveyancers
• government agencies where required by law
• our professional service providers, including information technology, compliance and legal

Overseas Disclosure

Some recipients of your information may be located overseas. Loan Market Group operates platforms that may store data on servers located in countries including the United States and countries in the European Union. We take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Access, Correction and Complaints

You have the right to access and correct your personal information. To request access or make a correction, contact Priya Dey on 0450 355 604 or at info@fnsq.com.au.

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you may lodge a complaint with us. If it is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We are a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. AFCA is the external dispute resolution scheme for financial complaints in Australia, and there is no cost to you to lodge a complaint with them. Our Privacy Policy

What You Are Consenting To

When you sign this form, you are giving three separate consents. They are set out here so you can read them before you sign.

Electronic communication. You consent to us communicating with you by electronic means, including email, SMS and digital platforms, for the purpose of providing credit assistance services. You may opt out at any time.

Credit reporting. You authorise us and our licensee BLSSA Pty Ltd to obtain a copy of your consumer credit report and your commercial credit report from credit reporting bodies, for the purpose of assessing your credit application and providing credit assistance.

Cross-border disclosure. You acknowledge that your personal information may be disclosed to overseas recipients as described in this collection notice, and you consent to that disclosure for the purpose of providing credit assistance services.

Declaration

The signed form carries this declaration:

I/We acknowledge that I/we have read and understood this Privacy Disclosure and Consent Form. I/We consent to the collection, use and disclosure of my/our personal information as described above, including disclosure to overseas recipients. I/We authorise Finance Square Group (Sioux Property Solutions Group Pty Ltd, Credit Representative 543438) and BLSSA Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 391237) to obtain credit reports on my/our behalf.

The form is signed by each applicant and countersigned by your broker. We will send you a copy to sign before we act on your application. If you would like to read the form in full beforehand, or you have a question about any part of it, call 0450 355 604 or email info@fnsq.com.au.

If you choose not to provide the information we ask for, we may not be able to assess your options or prepare an application for you.
